Solar street lights, floodlights and off-grid lighting for Morocco

Manufacturing

Our ISO-certified manufacturing base in South China: from PV panel to export carton

Factory

One ISO-certified manufacturing base, one brand: LALOGO

LALOGO luminaires are produced at our ISO-certified manufacturing base in South China. The PV panel, LED module, die-cast aluminium housing, MPPT controller and LiFePO4 battery are assembled and tested under one roof, which is how we can guarantee that the 4 numbers printed on a datasheet (LED W, lm, Wp, Wh) match what is delivered to Morocco.

We are not a trader switching factories with every order: the 28 models in the catalogue are built on the same lines with the same components (3030 / 5054 SMD LEDs at 180–220 lm/W, replaceable 3.2 V LiFePO4 packs, 70° × 140° lenses). An order of 20 street lights for a douar and an order of 400 for a residential estate go through the same end-of-line control.

What we do not produce in South China are the poles: the 25 % safeguard duty on imported poles (HS 7308.90.10, all origins, definitive since March 2025) makes a Moroccan-made pole the economical choice. We supply the LS-P6 drawings (Q235 hot-dip galvanised conical pole, 5.7 to 7.8 m) to Moroccan fabricators and ship arms and LS-B brackets with the luminaires.

Production equipment

Key process equipment at our manufacturing base.

PV panel laminators

Stringing of monocrystalline cells, EVA / tempered-glass lamination, aluminium frame; panels from 20 to 200 Wp for all-in-one units, heads and split kits.

SMT line for LED modules

Machine placement of 3030 and 5054 SMD LEDs on aluminium PCBs, reflow, fitting of 70° × 140° lenses; 180–220 lm/W measured module by module.

Aluminium die-casting

Die-cast aluminium alloy housings, IP65 sealing (IP66 on the coastal version), sand-grey powder coat.

Robot welding cells

Robot welding of steel flanges, base plates, arms and battery boxes before hot-dip galvanising.

Powder-coating booth

Polyester powder coat on housings and brackets; marine-grade coating on the IP66 coastal version for the Moroccan shoreline.

LiFePO4 battery workshop

Assembly of 3.2 V (50 to 160 Ah) and 12.8 V (30 to 100 Ah) LiFePO4 packs, BMS, control charge / discharge cycle before fitting.

End-of-line test bench

Switch-on, LED current measurement, dusk sensor, PIR and remote test, MPPT charging check on every luminaire.

Export packing and consolidation

Export cartons with foam inserts, palletising, LALOGO labelling, container consolidation to Casablanca or Tanger Med.

Production process

From solar cells and LiFePO4 cells to a packed, tested luminaire.

  1. 01

    PV panel lamination

Monocrystalline cells are soldered into strings, laminated under EVA and tempered glass, then framed in aluminium. The all-in-one top panel and the separate panel of the LS-S kits come off the same line.

  2. LED module assembly
    02

    LED module assembly

3030 and 5054 SMD LEDs machine-placed on aluminium PCBs, 70° × 140° lenses for the asymmetric road distribution, 180–220 lm/W. Every module is lit and measured before assembly.

  3. 03

    Housings, arms and brackets

Die-cast aluminium housings with sand-grey powder coat, hot-dip galvanised arms and LS-B brackets. The poles themselves are made in Morocco from our LS-P6 drawings.

  4. 04

    Robot welding

Steel parts (flanges, base plates, battery boxes for split kits) are robot-welded for consistent repeatability, then hot-dip galvanised.

  5. 05

    Testing, packing and shipping

Functional test of every luminaire (switch-on, PIR, remote, charging), LALOGO labelling, export cartons with foam inserts, then container consolidation to Casablanca or Tanger Med.

Factory video tour

Short clips filmed on the shop floor — panel lamination, pole fabrication, robot welding, assembly and packing.

Testing and quality control

Every luminaire passes routine tests before shipment; type tests are carried out by accredited third-party laboratories.

Routine tests (every unit)

  • Switch-on and current measurement of every LED module before assembly
  • Functional test of the MPPT controller: charging, voltage thresholds, programmed dimming profile
  • Dusk sensor, PIR detector and IR remote test
  • Control charge / discharge cycle of the LiFePO4 battery
  • Visual inspection of housing, gasket and coating
  • Check of labelling (LS model, year, battery identification) and carton contents

Type and special tests

  • Luminaire safety to the IEC 60598-1 / 60598-2-3 family (reports on request)
  • IP65 / IP66 ingress protection to IEC 60529 (report on request)
  • Salt-spray test on the IP66 coastal version (report on request)
  • Photometry: IES / LDT files for DIALux studies (on request)
  • LiFePO4 battery: file to the IEC 62133 family (on request)
  • IK impact rating and L70 lifetime: values per model on request

LALOGO luminaires are designed on the IEC 60598 family and documented for the Moroccan Cم marking (Law 24-09, Orders 2573-14 and 2574-14). The NM 06.8.001 file (solar LED street lights for public lighting) is in progress: we claim no conformity until the corresponding test is reported. Any figure missing from a datasheet is 'on request', never guessed.
