Overview

The LS-A110 110 W all-in-one solar street light is a stand-alone outdoor luminaire with a 256 W nominal LED module (≈ 10,000 lm), a 110 Wp polycrystalline panel, a LiFePO4 3.2 V 100 Ah battery (320 Wh) and IP65 protection, for 6 to 7 m poles spaced 25 m apart. It equips secondary roads, boulevards of new residential developments and service roads of business parks in Morocco (indicative class P1–P2 or M5–M6, NM EN 13201). Autonomy up to 12 h per night with 3–5 days of reserve at the default profile; price for Morocco on request (quote via WhatsApp).

How is it sized? The four numbers: 110 Wp, 320 Wh, 256 W LED nominal (4 modules of 64 × 3030 SMD), ≈ 10,000 lm. The module's nominal power is not the average draw: the MPPT controller applies a dimming profile, full flux early in the evening and on movement (PIR), reduced flux in the middle of the night, so the average over 12 h stays well below 256 W. Between the LS-A80 (≈ 8,000 lm) and the LS-A120 (≈ 12,000 lm), the LS-A110 is the intermediate model for 7 to 9 m wide boulevards; the arithmetic is in "Autonomy in the Moroccan climate".

The die-cast aluminium housing measures 1,375 × 430 × 55 mm and weighs 13.9 kg, operating from −20 °C to +65 °C. The polycrystalline panel performs well in diffuse light; in coastal zones (Casablanca-Settat, Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Tangier), ask for the IP66 marine-coated version, salt-spray test report on request. Built-in, replaceable LiFePO4 battery.

Autonomy in the Moroccan climate

Sized for December: in Casablanca a flat panel receives 2.99 kWh/m²/day (PVGIS-SARAH2 2005-2020, JRC). With a system efficiency of 0.72 (engineering assumption), the LS-A110 harvests 110 × 2.99 × 0.72 ≈ 237 Wh per day; in Fez (2.97) ≈ 235 Wh; in Ouarzazate (3.81) ≈ 302 Wh. The night of 21 December lasts ≈ 14.1 h in Casablanca and Fez (astronomical computation): 237 Wh spread over the night are an average of about 17 W, or 7 % of the LED module's 256 W nominal.

The controller makes the difference: full flux (≈ 10,000 lm) early in the evening and on PIR-detected movement, reduced flux in the middle of the night when the boulevard is empty. The 320 Wh battery absorbs overcast days, hence "up to 12 h per night, 3–5 days of reserve at the default profile". In June (7.51 kWh/m²/day) the harvest reaches ≈ 595 Wh for a 9.4 to 10.1 h night and the profile can be raised. Autonomy depends on irradiation (sized for December) and on the dimming profile.

• Heat: operating range −20 °C to +65 °C; according to a study published in 2024, a LiFePO4 cell loses ≈ 23 % of its cycle life at 45 °C compared with 25 °C. In Fez (mean July–August maximum 35.1 °C, record 46.7 °C) or Marrakech, plan a battery check after each summer.
• Cold: in Fez (record −8.2 °C) and the Middle Atlas, the BMS locks charging below 0 °C at dawn; harvesting resumes as soon as the cell warms up.
• Coast: IP66 marine-coated version in C4–C5 zones; humidity ≈ 82 % all year in Casablanca.

Compliance and tenders

The LS-A110 is designed to IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-3, IEC 62717 (LED modules), IEC 60529 (IP65) and IEC 62133-2 (LiFePO4 battery). NM 06.8.001 file in progress; the standard requires ≥ 130 lm/W, 0–100 % dimming with astronomical clock, a 16 h autonomy test at ≥ 40 % flux at 25 °C and a panel lower edge ≥ 3 m above ground. Cم marking (law 24-09, orders 2573-14 and 2574-14) with a declaration of conformity and an Arabic manual.

The pole is Moroccan-made (25 % safeguard duty on imported poles, HS 7308.90.10); the customs classification of the luminaire is confirmed by our customs broker. For a tender specification we supply the FR/EN datasheet, IES/LDT files for the NM EN 13201 study (indicative class P1–P2 or M5–M6 for an estate boulevard or a secondary road), the 6.8 m LS-P6 pole drawing and the EN/NM correspondence table.
