Overview

The LS-H80 80 W solar street light head retrofits existing 6–7 m poles: 80 W nominal LED, 60 Wp panel, IP65, autonomy of 12–16 h per night on the default profile. It replaces the sodium lantern on communal roads, lotissement main streets and industrial-zone roads with no trench, no cable and no imported pole: the galvanised pole and its foundation stay, the head changes in one visit. On a 6–7 m pole the LS-H80 targets class P3 for lotissement streets and M5–M6 / C5 for communal link roads (indicative NM EN 13201 selection under CEN/TR 13201-1, photometric study on request). No pole is imported, so the 25 % safeguard duty on poles (HS 7308.90.10, all origins) does not apply to the retrofit; the customs classification of the luminaire is confirmed by our customs broker. NM 06.8.001 (IMANOR, 2024) includes all-in-one solar modules mounted on existing poles in its scope; the LALOGO file is in progress.

Autonomy depends on irradiation (sized for December: 2.99 kWh/m²/day in Casablanca, 3.46 in Marrakech, 3.81 in Ouarzazate, PVGIS-SARAH2 2005-2020) and on the dimming profile set with the remote. The LS-H80 is built at our ISO-certified manufacturing base in South China and supported by LALOGO from Casablanca.

What autonomy does an 80 W solar head give in winter?

LALOGO sizes for December, the weakest month: a flat panel receives 2.58 kWh/m²/day in Tangier, 2.85 in Rabat, 2.99 in Casablanca, 3.46 in Marrakech, 3.62 in Agadir and 3.81 in Ouarzazate (PVGIS-SARAH2 2005-2020, JRC), while June and July bring 7.3 to 8.2 kWh/m²/day everywhere. The 60 Wp panel of the LS-H80 sits on a tilting bracket: tilted to about 32° facing south, it gains +62 to +68 % December energy compared with a flat panel. The night of 21 December lasts 14.1 h in Casablanca and 13.9 h in Marrakech (astronomical computation): that is the span the dimming profile has to cover.

The default profile gives 12–16 h per night; NM 06.8.001 defines autonomy by a 16 h continuous test at not less than 40 % flux at 25 °C and requires automatic dimming according to night length and battery energy. On an existing pole, the only on-site settings are the panel orientation and the profile chosen with the remote.

Compliance and customs for the LS-H80 head

The luminaire refers to IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60598-2-3; the Cم declaration of conformity (Law 24-09, Orders 2573-14 and 2574-14), test reports and NM 06.8.001 marking (unique ID, trademark, year, battery identification) are supplied on request. LALOGO's NM 06.8.001 file is in progress; the clauses quoted on this site come from the September 2024 draft (EP 52/2024) and the homologated text is purchased from IMANOR. The operation manual is delivered in Arabic and French with seasonal performance.

The head alone includes no pole: the 25 % safeguard duty on imported poles (HS 7308.90.10) does not apply. The customs classification of the luminaire is confirmed by our customs broker before shipment; no exemption from the anti-dumping measure (HS 9405.42.00.10) is claimed before the binding ruling is issued.
