Overview

The LS-L10 is a solar lawn spike light, IP65, for flower beds, borders and path edges at villas, gated residences and hotels in Morocco. These are outdoor solar garden lights for Morocco, not decorative Moroccan lanterns: the LS-L10 marks and highlights, it does not light a road. Height above ground, colour temperature (3000 K recommended), battery capacity and finish are set per order; sample 1 piece, project lots from 20 pieces; lumen output and autonomy are stated on request for the chosen configuration.

Like any small solar luminaire, the LS-L10 charges its battery by day through a panel integrated in the head and returns the energy at night through a LED in the ≤ 30 W class. We size for December irradiation — 2.99 kWh/m²/day in Casablanca, 3.46 in Marrakech, 3.62 in Agadir (PVGIS-SARAH2 2005-2020, JRC) — not on summer; autonomy depends on irradiation and on the dimming profile. The spike pushes into the soil: no cable, no trench, no connection to the common-area meter.

For a syndic (owners' association), a developer or a hotel, the LS-L10 is ordered by lot with a uniform finish and light colour. We supply the datasheet in French and English, the declaration of conformity (Cم marking) on request and a sample before the production run. Which solar lawn light for a villa or a residence in Morocco?

Start with the use: marking a flower bed needs little output but a warm, even light; a path edge needs a regular height and spacing. For hotels and residences we recommend 3000 K (warm white). Climate comes next: in Casablanca relative humidity is around 82 % all year, hence IP65 and a yearly corrosion check on the coast; in Marrakech the mean daily maximum reaches 37–38 °C in July–August, which shortens the life of any battery — hence a capacity chosen with margin. Finally, order the lot in one go: same shape, same finish, same tint, and a sample approved before the run.

Compliance, customs and delivery

The LS-L10 belongs to the portable and garden luminaire family (NM EN 60598-2-4), covered by ministerial orders 2573-14 (low voltage) and 2574-14 (electromagnetic compatibility): the Cم marking and the declaration of conformity are supplied on request; IEC 60598-1 and IEC 60529 (IP65) test reports are available on request. The 27 % anti-dumping duty (HS 9405.42.00.10) targets Chinese-origin LED luminaires for urban lighting; the customs classification of each reference is confirmed by our customs broker before shipment. No pole is needed: the 25 % safeguard duty on imported poles (HS 7308.90.10) does not apply to this product.
