Overview

The LS-L32 is the square-head version of our solar lawn light for parks and resorts: decorative solar garden lighting for Morocco (not a Moroccan lantern for interior decor), IP65, for the lawns, beds and walkways of resorts, golf courses and public gardens, including on the coast (Agadir-Taghazout, Saidia, El Jadida, Mohammedia). Height above ground, colour temperature, battery capacity, finish and impact rating (IK) are set per order; output and autonomy are stated on request for the chosen configuration.

On the coast the enemy is salt: in Casablanca relative humidity is around 82 % all year and, within a few hundred metres of the shore (class C5 under ISO 9223), the marine atmosphere attacks any unprotected metal — the zinc of a galvanised part loses 4.2–8.4 µm a year there. For such sites we offer, on request, a reinforced anti-corrosion finish and stainless fasteners; the IP65 body protects the electronics from sprinklers and sea spray. The integrated panel is sized for December (3.62 kWh/m²/day in Agadir, 2.99 in Casablanca — PVGIS-SARAH2 2005-2020, JRC); autonomy depends on irradiation and on the dimming profile.

Solar garden lights by the sea: what should you plan for?

ISO 9223 grades the aggressiveness of the air by the zinc loss of a galvanised part: C3 (urban, 1–30 km from the sea) 0.7–2.1 µm/yr; C4 (industrial or less than 1 km from the sea) 2.1–4.2; C5 (a few hundred metres from the shore) 4.2–8.4. No Moroccan corrosivity map exists: we apply a LALOGO engineering classification by distance to the sea (ISO 9223) — seafront (Corniche, Mohammedia, El Jadida, Taghazout, Saidia) = C5, 1 km belt = C4, inland = C3. For C4 and C5, specify the reinforced anti-corrosion finish, stainless fasteners and a neutral salt-spray test report (ISO 9227) on request; keep IP65; rinse the lights with fresh water after the humid season and check the seals every year. These measures are LALOGO commercial practice, not a Moroccan rule.

Compliance, customs and delivery

Garden luminaire of the NM EN 60598-2-4 family, Cم marking (law 24-09, orders 2573-14 and 2574-14): declaration of conformity and IEC 60598-1, IEC 60529 (IP65), IEC 62262 (IK) and ISO 9227 (salt spray) reports on request. The customs classification of the LS-L32 is confirmed by our customs broker before shipment; the 27 % anti-dumping duty (HS 9405.42.00.10) targets Chinese-origin LED luminaires for urban lighting, and we claim no exemption before the binding tariff ruling is issued. With no pole, the 25 % safeguard duty on imported poles (HS 7308.90.10) does not apply.
