Overview
The LS-P6 is a conical lighting pole in Q235 hot-dip galvanised steel, available in 5.7 / 5.8 / 6 / 6.8 / 7.8 m with a 1.5–2.75 mm wall and an anchor cage, designed to carry our all-in-one solar street lights (Ø 60 mm spigot) and our split solar street light kits. Imported poles are subject to a 25 % safeguard duty in Morocco (HS 7308.90.10, all origins, definitive since March 2025); LALOGO recommends a Moroccan-made street light pole and supplies the drawings to your fabricator. A 6 m galvanised pole for a solar street light or a 7.8 m pole for a main road: the drawing is the same, only the dimensions change.
The measure covers metal supports 3–12 m high carrying one or more luminaires (shaft, with optional extension or arm). It was created by ministerial order 7009-21 of 2 August 2021, applied provisionally from 3 September 2021, made definitive by joint order of 11 March 2025 and amended on 8 June 2026 (content of the amendment to be confirmed with your customs broker). Its basis: imports up 82 % between 2015 and 2020 (8,285 t → 15,104 t). In practice, importing a 6 m tube means paying its freight plus 25 % for a part a Moroccan steel fabricator makes a few kilometres from the site.
What LALOGO supplies: the dimensioned LS-P6 drawing (height, diameters, thickness, flange, anchor cage, optional battery box at the pole base as allowed by NM 06.8.001 §5.4), the references to meet (NM EN 40-5 for steel poles, hot-dip galvanising to NM ISO 1461, ISO 12944 corrosivity class: C3 inland, C4–C5 on the coast) and, on request, the pole itself delivered with our luminaires, 25 % safeguard duty included in the quotation. The pole is Moroccan-made (25 % safeguard duty on imported poles, HS 7308.90.10); the customs classification of the luminaire is confirmed by our customs broker. The LS-P6 is a drawing: the pole is made in Morocco by your steel fabricator to our dimensions, or supplied by LALOGO on request (25 % safeguard duty included). Wind class and foundation design: per site, on request.
Parameters refer to standard versions at 25 °C and may be updated without notice — please confirm them in the technical offer.
Why have the pole made in Morocco rather than import it?
Because customs decided before we did. Since ministerial order 7009-21 of 2 August 2021, metal supports 3–12 m high intended to carry one or more luminaires have their own tariff line, 7308.90.10, hit by a 25 % ad valorem safeguard duty: provisional from 3 September 2021 for 200 days, definitive by joint order of 11 March 2025, amended on 8 June 2026 (rate, duration or quota of that amendment: check with your customs broker). The measure applies to all origins, not only China; it rests on imports that rose from 8,285 t to 15,104 t between 2015 and 2020 (+82 %) and an imports-to-domestic-production ratio that climbed from 87 % to 110 %. A pole is steel, welding and galvanising — three skills Moroccan steel fabricators master, with a few dozen kilometres of transport instead of a container. LALOGO therefore imports the head and hands over the drawing; the luminaire travels under its own HS heading, confirmed by our customs broker.
- What your fabricator receives: dimensioned LS-P6 drawing, parts list (shaft, flange, anchor cage, door, optional battery box), NM ISO 1461 galvanising instructions
- What you avoid: the 25 % safeguard duty and the sea freight of a 6–8 m tube
- What you keep: the LALOGO warranty on the luminaire, the Ø 60 mm fitting or the arm delivered with it
- Coast (C4–C5): zinc loss 2.1–8.4 µm/yr (ISO 9223) → plan a duplex coating (galvanising + polyester powder coat, ISO 12944-5) and stainless fasteners
- The pole is Moroccan-made (25 % safeguard duty on imported poles, HS 7308.90.10); the customs classification of the luminaire is confirmed by our customs broker
Which pole height for which solar street light?
Height follows the luminaire and the target lighting class, not the other way round. Our datasheets give, for each all-in-one model, the design height and spacing: LS-A30 3–4 m / 10–15 m; LS-A50C 4–5 m / 12–18 m; LS-A60 4–6 m / 15–20 m; LS-A80 6 m / 20–25 m; LS-A110 6–7 m / 25 m; LS-A120 7–8 m / 25–30 m; LS-A140 8–10 m / 30–35 m (beyond the LS-P6: specific drawing on request). For split kits: LS-S60 5–6 m, LS-S80 6–7 m, LS-S100 7–8 m single or double arm, LS-S120 8–10 m double arm. Indicative selection under CEN/TR 13201-1: a 30 km/h housing-estate street falls in classes P3–P4 (7.5 lx / 5 lx average), a douar track in M6 or P4–P5; the final class is set by the consulting engineer, and the IES/LDT photometric file is supplied on request for the simulation. Two fixed constraints: the lower edge of the panel at least 3 m above finished ground (NM 06.8.001 §5.2) and, on the coast, a coating matched to the corrosivity class.
- 5.7–6 m: LS-A60, LS-A80, LS-S60, LS-C100 — douar streets, housing estates, car parks
- 6.8 m: LS-A110, LS-S80 — secondary roads, main streets of housing estates
- 7.8 m: LS-A120, LS-S100 — main roads, junctions, industrial zones
- 8–10 m (LS-A140, LS-S120): specific drawing on request
- IES/LDT files and NM EN 13201 calculation note: on request, for the consulting engineer's file
